PSPBM Skills Free Assessment: 50 Practice Questions
This is a free practice assessment for the Professional Scrum Product Backlog Management Skills (PSPBM Skills) certification. The real assessment is 20 questions in 30 minutes with an 85% pass mark — which leaves room for only three wrong answers. Practising against a larger bank first is the cheapest way to find out where your gaps are.
The 50 questions below are drawn from the same territory the official assessment covers: the Product Backlog itself, Product Backlog management, and stakeholders. Most are scenario-based rather than definitional, because the certification tests how techniques are applied, not whether you can recite them.
Answer one question at a time. Every answer — right or wrong — comes with an explanation, so read those even when you score the point. Nothing is stored and there is no sign-up.
Scoring below 85%?
That is normal, and it is useful information. The questions people miss most often are the ones about slicing, ordering trade-offs and stakeholder conversations — all things that are hard to learn from reading and straightforward to learn by doing.
Our one-day PSPBM Skills class is hands-on practice at exactly those, and the Scrum.org assessment password is included.

There are no prerequisites, though a solid grounding in Scrum helps considerably. If you have not read the Scrum Guide recently, read it before you sit the real thing — several questions turn on the exact wording of the Product Owner's accountabilities.
This is an independent practice resource created by AgileWoW. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a source of questions from Scrum.org, and the official assessment will not contain these questions.
